Marker descriptions

Education

An opportunity for educational signage on key points of interest.
Links & loops

An opportunity to install new gravel trail for casual walkers (separate from the Gardiners Creek Trail).
Primary gateway

Entrance to Gardiners Creek with maintenance vehicle access. In these locations we may look at improving signage, indigenous garden beds, a new outdoor seat and bins.
Pause points

An opportunity to rest with a new outdoor seat facing the river.
Permeability

An opportunity to reduce the hard surfaces, improve soil permeability and revegetate with indigenous plants.
Secondary gateway

A pedestrian-only entrance to Gardiners Creek Trail. In these locations we may look at improving signage, indigenous garden beds and a new outdoor seat.
Water Sensitive Urban Design

An opportunity for water sensitive design actions, such as more indigenous planting and rainwater garden systems.
Aboriginal histories, cultures and knowledges

An opportunity to introduce initiatives across the catchment to recognise the Traditional Owners, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people, and the Aboriginal histories and cultures of the area.
