Help shape our transport priorities

What do you think the future of transport in Boroondara will look like?
What changes do we need to prepare for now?

We’re developing a new 10-year plan for transport in Boroondara. We want to improve travel and access within, to and from Boroondara.

Your feedback will help us understand:

  • how and why you choose your mode of transport
  • any barriers you face to choosing or using certain types of transport
  • your priorities for where we should focus on making improvements.

We want to hear from you about what would make it easier, safer or more convenient for you to use different forms of transport. We also want to understand how we can support community members to make more sustainable transport choices.

Have your say by 5 pm Tuesday 5 May.

Why do we want to hear from you?

Our new Integrated Transport Strategy will include:
  • Advocacy

Prioritise our advocacy to the Victorian Government for arterial roads and public transport, including trains, trams and buses.

  • Cars and parking

Plan out how we manage car travel and on-street parking effectively into the future.

  • Traffic

Introduce measures to better manage traffic, public transport, cycling and walking on congested roads and in our activity centres.

  • Alternatives

Promote safe, sustainable and secure alternative forms of travel to the car and increase the attractiveness of these options.

After consultation closes

We will carefully consider all feedback from the consultation and stakeholder workshops alongside relevant existing and emerging local and state policies and plans.

The final Integrated Transport Strategy will be shared with councillors for consideration and adoption.
