Help us design the new playground
We’re upgrading the local playground at Trafalgar Road Reserve, located at 27 Trafalgar Road, Camberwell.
Before we design the new playground, we would like to know:
- what you like
- what could be improved
- things you’d like to see in the new playground.
How you can get involved:
This stage of community consultation closes at 5 pm on Wednesday 23 July 2025.
We’ll consider all your feedback when we create a draft design to share with you later in 2025.
Why we're building a new playground
The current playground is over 20 years old, so it needs to be replaced due to its age and condition. To keep it fun, safe and inclusive for years to come, we need to update all of the play equipment
This also presents an exciting opportunity. When we build the new playground, we’ll move it to the northern pocket of the reserve, closer to the car park and separated by a fence. Doing so means we can:
- improve accessibility to the playground
- maximise the available open space in the reserve for everyone in our community to enjoy!

Share you ideas or upload a drawing/photo
We encourage children to participate. They can share their ideas by drawing a picture using our colouring sheet or uploading their own drawing for everyone to see.
