About this consultation
At the end of last year, we invited you to provide feedback on proposed parking changes for Tooronga Road.
Most people who responded were not supportive of the change.
We are running this consultation again at the request of community members who could not participate in the first consultation.
Current parking restrictions
- There are currently no parking restrictions either side of Tooronga Road between Constance Street and Anderson Road.
Proposed changes
We are proposing to change these restrictions to:
The east side with even-numbered homes: '2P, 8 am-6 pm, Mon-Fri' between Constance Street and Anderson Road. The west side with odd-numbered homes: No changes.
Vehicles with a valid residential parking permit are and will be exempt from parking restrictions in this area. To find out if you’re eligible for a permit and how to apply, visit our Residential parking permits page.

Who can take part
- People who are eligible for a residential parking permit for properties along Tooronga Road, between Constance Street and Anderson Road. We will accept one response from residents in each property. If we receive more than one response for your property, we will contact you to confirm your response.
- Property owners who do not live in their property.
What happens after this consultation
In accordance with our Parking Management Policy, we will change the parking restrictions if 55% or more of all eligible responses support the proposed changes.
