About this consultation

We have been contacted by a number of community members who have concerns about the on-street parking configuration along Stornoway Road in Camberwell.

We have assessed the situation and now invite your feedback on proposed changes to parking for a section of this road.

The concerns raised are about the lack of on-street parking availability for residents and their visitors during the weekends.

We are proposing to introduce 'Permit Zone, Sat-Sun' parking restrictions on the south side of the road.

The proposed changes to parking restrictions are in line with our:

  • Parking Management Policy 2017
  • Parking Management Procedures 2017.

    The are currently no parking restrictions along Stornoway Road.


    Proposed changes

    We are proposing to introduce:

    • 'Permit Zone, Sat-Sun' parking restrictions on the south side of Stornoway Road between property 22 Stornoway Road and the Through Road intersection.

    Vehicles with a valid residential parking permit are and will be exempt from parking restrictions in this area. To find out if you’re eligible for a permit and how to apply, visit our Residential Parking Permits page.

    Who can take part

    This consultation is open to properties with a frontage to Stornoway Road, Camberwell.

    We will accept one response from residents in each property. If we receive more than one response for your property, we will contact you to confirm your response.

    Property owners who do not live in their property are also eligible.

    You can have your say on the proposed changes by completing our online survey below. The survey will take 5 minutes or less to complete. We will ask for your name, address and email.

    This consultation closes at 5 pm on Monday 6 January 2025.

    What happens next

    In accordance with our Parking Management Policy, we will change the parking restrictions if 55% or more of all eligible responses show support for the proposed changes.
