About this consultation

Community members have raised traffic concerns along Violet Grove, Kew East. There can be congestion when vehicles are parked on both sides of the street for long periods.

We’re proposing new parking restrictions for Violet Grove on one side of the street. These new parking rules will make people move their cars more often on this side of the street. This will create gaps and make Violet Grove less crowded.

Current parking restrictions

  • Parking is currently unrestricted on both sides of the street.

Proposed changes

We are proposing to change these restrictions to:

  • East side with even numbered properties: Unrestricted parking to '2P, 8 am-6 pm, Mon-Fri'.
  • West side with odd numbered properties: No proposed parking restriction changes.
  • Vehicles with a valid residential parking permit are and will be exempt from parking restrictions in this area. To find out if you’re eligible for a permit and how to apply, visit our Residential parking permits page.
