About this consultation

From 27 May to 16 June 2025, we consulted our community on removing the ‘Permit Zone, 9am to 3 pm Sunday’ on-street parking restriction located along Middlesex Road and Durham Road, Surrey Hills, south of Canterbury Road.

The restriction was designed to reduce the impact of parking on Sundays associated with the Church at 1 Kent Road. With the Church no longer used, and little activity occurring by ‘Youth with a Mission’, the ‘Permit Zone’ restriction is considered unnecessary and we have proposed its removal.

We invited residents and property owners to participate in this consultation. We thank everyone who provided feedback on the proposed change.
