Amendment approved

This amendment was approved and gazetted on 31 October 2025.

The amendment applies the Heritage Overlay on a permanent basis to the land at:

  • 127–141 High Street and 152 Summerhill Road, Glen Iris
  • 2–28 and 1–33 Tower Hill Road, Glen Iris
  • 2–32 Munro Avenue, Ashburton
  • 142–146 High Street, Glen Iris
  • 146A–148 High Street, Ashburton
  • 6–28 and 40–60 Dent Street, Glen Iris
  • 7 Fuller Avenue, Glen Iris
  • 33 Fuller Avenue, Glen Iris.

The Amendment implements the recommendations of the 'Independent Review: Mont Iris Estate & Environs Precinct (GJM Heritage, September 2023)' to apply the Heritage Overlay to 2 individually significant heritage places and 3 heritage precincts in Ashburton and Glen Iris on a permanent basis.
