Alamein Avenue & Ambon Street in Ashburton

The Victorian Government is inviting feedback on their proposed designs for new social housing at Alamein Avenue and Ambon Street, Ashburton. This is the next stage of consultation, following initial community consultation undertaken in October and November 2025 – thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

The redevelopment will deliver 91 new homes, and is being delivered in partnership between the Commonwealth Government's Housing Australia Future Fund and the Victorian Government.

As this is a Victorian Government consultation, the City of Boroondara is not a decision maker in the final outcome.

How to have your say on the draft designs

Share your feedback on the designs before 11:59 pm Sunday 22 March 2026.

There's 2 ways to get involved:

  • Drop-in sessions

    Homes Victoria is hosting 2 sessions:

    • Session 1: Saturday 14 March, 10 am to 12 pm
    • Session 2: Saturday 19 March, 5 pm to 7 pm


    Registration is not required.
