Alamein Avenue & Ambon Street in Ashburton

The Victorian Government invited feedback on their proposed designs for new social housing at Alamein Avenue and Ambon Street, Ashburton. This was the next stage of consultation, following initial community consultation undertaken in October and November 2025 – thank you to everyone who provided feedback to the government.

The redevelopment will deliver 91 new homes, and is being delivered in partnership between the Commonwealth Government's Housing Australia Future Fund and the Victorian Government.

As this is a Victorian Government consultation, the City of Boroondara is not a decision maker in the final outcome.
